Festive Robins

Join our workshop and enjoy the very special and welcoming surroundings of Abernant House.

At this workshop you will se local and native wool, an find out abou the different methods of felt-making. We will be needle-felting a sculpture using the core wool method and barbed needles, and create one of our most opular garden birds, the robin.
You are welcome to bring in photos to work from, or browse through the resources available.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities, including beginners. I will guide you through the techniques and you will be able to take home your completed robin at the end of the workshop. 

We will break for a fabulous homemade lunch (Please advise us of any dietary requirements). 

Tea, coffee and a choice of homemade cake will be provided throughout the day.

All the materials nd tools are provided, and there will also be the opportunity to purchase a kit to go home and continue to needle felt!

Arrive at 9.45am for 10am to have a brief tour of Abernant before starting the workshop.
We will break for a super lunch at 12.30pm and then have a further 2 hours after lunch to finish your fabulous Hares.

There will be plenty of time to create your robin and enjoy the surroundings. Jo, the manager of Abernant, will be able to give you fascinating details of the owners and history of the house and contents whilst you craft.

Prices: £45.00 - to include tour and interesting history of Abernant, all tuition, all materials, tea, coffee and cakes, lunch.....and an amazing day!
